Cork Con FC U20 24 - 5 Bruff
Venue: Mahon
Competition: Munster U20 League
Match Report:

Cork Constitution finally got the second phase of the season underway on Saturday, after an eight week lay-off, with a good victory over Bruff, scoring four tries in very difficult conditions at Mahon. They scored three first half tries to lead 19-5 at the interval. And they notched the bonus point fourth try in a curtailed second period, after the referee wisely called time when a Bruff front row player was injured.

Constitution out half Eoin Lacey scored his side’s first try, and added the conversion for 7-0. Centre Michael Clune scored the second try, which Lacey again converted. And before the break, flanker Daniel Walsh also got on the score sheet with a try, before Bruff hit back with a try. Conor Murphy scored the fourth try for Constitution before the unfortunate injury brought the game to a finish.

However, there was also some good news for Constitution players: John Poland, Shane Daly and Daniel Walsh who have been named in the Ireland U20 squad for the forthcoming Six Nations Championship.
