Business of Sports Lunch

The Business of Sports Lunch event, kindly sponsored by Kearys, was a day to remember for the Cork Constitution Rugby Club community. With an impressive turnout, the Maryborough Hotel was buzzing with excitement and a great community spirit.

The event was graced by the presence of some esteemed guests, including Club President Ray Clarke, Donal Lenihan, Greg Barrett, the incoming IRFU President, and Ireland Coach, Andy Farrell. In the photograph above, they can be seen sharing a moment of camaraderie, which captured the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the day. Additionally, it was fantastic to see our player and Irish International, Peter O’Mahony attend.

One of the highlights of the day was the rare opportunity for attendees to hear Ireland Coach, Andy Farrell, being interviewed by Donal Lenihan on the inside story of Ireland’s recent Grand Slam triumph. The conversation was insightful and engaging, and attendees were thrilled to gain a unique perspective on Ireland’s success.

Beyond the insightful interview, the event was a wonderful platform for local businesses to network and connect with each other and the Cork Constitution Rugby Club community. The attendees were treated to a delicious meal, which provided the perfect setting for casual conversation and getting to know one another.

As the event came to a close, it was evident that it had been a resounding success. It was a testament to the club’s commitment to promoting community engagement and fostering positive relationships with its members and the wider community. The day was a perfect blend of business and sports, and attendees left feeling inspired and energised by the experience.
