Overview
Where and when we train
We train in Con side pitch one night a week on Tuesday evening from 7pm to 8.15pm and our matches are played on a Friday evening.
Competitions per year
We pay in 3 cup competitions – The Dennehy Cup in Sept each year, then the South Munster J2 Cup in April time and Kelly Cup in March/April time also. We also play in the South Munster J2 league throughout the winter – Overall a successful season for us would lead to between 16 or 18 games in total
Brief history of previous seasons – 2 Seasons ago we won the overall Munster J2 League for the first time in over 20 years, we usually compete and get to the final of most cup competitions.
Coaches and management

Coaches: Eoin Quinlan, Ray O Leary, Cormac Fouhy
What do players get out of it?
Players get good serious competitive rugby and good fun. The fact that we only train once a week and have our game on a Friday evening suits people we busy lives with other commitments be it personal or professional. They get to be a member and involved in the rugby and social community that is Cork Con and become part of a team for life,
What experience you need
Ideally but not essential you should have played rugby previously and have a good understanding of the rules of the game. We take an attitude that everyone is welcome and there is plenty of good rugby for all.
