At Cork Constitution FC we are totally committed to the enjoyment of rugby by young people. We are also committed to creating an environment that promotes safety, fairness and fun. An environment of inclusion and equality where there is zero tolerance of bullying of any kind. 

 

We support the efforts of the IRFU in ensuring that our club provides a safe environment, that our players are supported on and off the pitch, and that we give a voice to those who need one.

 

We acknowledge the need to establish quality procedures and to continually update and review these procedures to ensure that we meet with legislative requirements and our own club standards.

 

Our commitment to Safeguarding is delivered through:

 

• Having a dedicated Club Welfare Officer

• Adhering to the IRFU Safeguarding Policy

• Creating an environment that gives voice to Children and Coaches

• Ensuring that all Coaches and Staff are Garda Vetted

• Having an appropriate Reporting Procedure in place 

• Continuously reviewing our procedures and policies with players, parents and club officials
