Cork Constitution F.C. is dedicated to furthering the game of Rugby for males and females of all abilities while also providing a high-value lifelong social outlet that contributes positively towards physical and mental health. Founded in 1892, Cork Constitution F.C. has a long history as a Rugby Club and with the game of Rugby Football worldwide having provided several rugby players, referees and administrators to the highest level of the global game. It does so from a strong membership and support base that has been sustained since the Club’s foundation. Our home at ‘Temple Hill’ provides state-of-the-art facilities within the heart of our local community in Cork city, and represents a ‘spiritual’ standing within the game as a ‘field of dreams’ within Ireland’s amateur game and as a stepping stone both to and from the professional game.

Cork Constitution F.C. will always promote the game of Rugby Football so that its attractiveness as a social activity for life is widely understood within our community. It will support players, referees and coaches of all abilities and diversity to reach their potential
through its relationship with Munster Rugby, the Irish Rugby Football Union, Munster Schools and Munster Clubs, and through its own development programmes. It will provide and sustain a value proposition for non-players to become and remain involved throughout their lives through the provision of an identifiable ‘team for life’ that seeks to provide a sense of belonging and home where great friends can be made and supports can be found. The Club will do these things through its skilled and dedicated volunteers and staff, with the resources provided to it by club and fund-raising activity, in a fun and collegiate way, as a progressive member of our community.

Those of us who have played and followed Rugby Football over many years know what a wonderful, healthy, collegiate and diverse outdoor activity it is. Although it cannot be played for life it can be supported, administered and engaged with to the extent that it offers support to the very basics of human endeavour – body and soul in the pursuit of happiness for all.

Rugby Football is arguably a social outlet that is second to none. It offers the highs and lows associated with the following/supporting of any sporting team but in our particular case it offers much more in terms of atmosphere, location, facilities, health (physical & mental) and supports. Cork Constitution F.C. is as good a team for life as one could hope to find
anywhere. We are all in this team for life together.
