Match Report:

Cork Constitution remain top of the All-Ireland League Division 1 table after a four-try bonus point win over bottom-of-the-table Terenure College at Lakelands Park on Saturday. 

Constitution led 7-20 by the interval from a penalty try converted by D.A.Moynihan, who added two penalties, and converted a try by Gavin Duffy.

 In the second period Constitution continued to dominate and added further tries from Jason Higgins and Pat Casey to claim a bonus point and consolidate the victory. 

Constitution are now on 38 points, five points clear of second-placed Lansdowne, at the mid-point of the League series; and 14 points ahead of fourth-placed Garryowen, who defeated UCC 14-12 at the Mardyke.

Constitution’s next AIL game is the return match with Terenure College at Templehill, on Saturday 19th January. 

Before that, there is the St Stephen’s Day Crowley Cup match against UCC at Templehill; and on Saturday 5th January, the Munster Senior Cup Final against Garryowen at Thomond Park.
