Match Report:

Young Munster gained revenge for their first round defeat at Templehill to claim the points at Greenfields on Saturday. The teams were level at 3-3 at halftime from a 31st minute penalty by Airey for the home side, equalised y Tomas Quinlan with a similar effort for Constitution in injury time.

Young Munster scored an unconverted try in the left corner in the 50th minute by right wing Craig O’Hanlon for 8-3. Tomas Quinlan missed a penalty chance for Constitution in the 55th minute, but nailed a similar effort in the 62nd minute to close to 8-6.

Gerry Hurley scored a try when Kevin O’Byrne peeled from a ruck on 69 minutes, but Quinlan missed the conversion. And they succumbed in the final minute when Copeland scored from a 5-metre lineout, and O’Hanlon’s conversion closed out a narrow win.
