Match Report:

Cork Constitution Under 20 XV succumbed to a surprising defeat on Saturday at Musgrave Park, as an enterprising Dolphin side scored a comprehensive victory.

Dolphin took the lead with a try by Cameron O’Shaughnessy from a quick tap penalty after just 5 minutes. And full back Alan O’Sullivan scored a second try on 10 minutes, with O’Shaughnessy adding the conversion for 12-0. A further penalty by O’Shaughnessy added to Con’s woe, and on the half hour Dolphin were out of sight with a third try scored by Alan O’Sullivan, with O’Shaughnessy kicking the conversion.


Shane O’Leary pulled a score back for Constitution before the break to leave the Musgrave Park outfit 23-5.

In the second half Dolphin maintained their grip on the match, and closed it out with their fourth try from Keith Kelleher for a bonus point win.
