Cork Con FC J2 16 - 0 Kinsale
Venue: Temple HillCompetition: Dennehy Cup Semi Final
Cork Constitution qualified for the final of the Dennehy Cup at Temple Hill on Sunday. Although the game was scoreless at the interval, Constitution had the better scoring chances and made sure of the win in the second period.
Simon Barry was their most influential player giving his side field advantage throughout. His three penalties in the third quarter put the game out of Kinsale’s reach. And he converted a fine try by Nigel Murphy to seal the win in the final 10 minutes.
The other semi final was postponed, so Constitution will have to wait another week to see if their final opponents will be Carrigaline or Dolphin.Referee:
