The death has occurred of Gary Horgan, esteemed former President and Club Captain of Cork Constitution Football Club.
He was a member of the Munster Cup winning teams of 1957 and 1961, the first Cups to be brought to the Club’s new home at Templehill.
And he was justly proud of the current team who just this week have won the Munster Cup once more.
Gary served the Club in every capacity, and made much valued contributions both as player and administrator, especially as the Club made the transition from the Mardyke to Templehill. He has been at the forefront of the Club’s further development at Templehill throughout, serving as President, Hon. Treasurer and Trustee.
And he was also a longtime member and supporter of the Bridge Club.
Sincere sympathy to Anne, Anthony, Frances and his family members.
