At the outset President Anthony O’Leary congratulated the players on a very successful season for the club, and thanked all the members for contributing to the club’s success both on and off the field.
The 1st XV reached four finals; retaining the Cork Charity Cup in September, but losing the Bateman and AIL finals, both to Lansdowne. The Bateman Cup final was played at Templehill, and the visitors were worthy winners on the day; however, in the AIL final at Lansdowne Road, the team put a fine performance before losing 17-19. The Munster Senior Cup had been also conceded to Garryowen at Dooradoyle in December. The President thanked the Coaches and Captain Niall Kenneally, for a very competitive and enjoyable season.
The Junior 1 XV were the stars of the season with the Munster double of Munster Seconds League and Munster Junior Cup. The President congratulated Captain Sonny Dwyer and Coaches, on an unbeaten season. They defeated Richmond to win the Cup in Irish Independent Park, and completed the double with victory over Garryowen at Dooradoyle in the final game of the season in the second week of May.
The Junior 2 XV under the captaincy of Cormac Fouhy also had a most remarkable season; they won the Dennehy Cup with victory over Mallow in September; the J2 South League with round robin victories victories over Dunmanway and Dolphin; but were defeated 17-20 by Garryowen at Templehill in the Munster Final. Meanwhile, they had defeated Bandon 12-7 at Irish Independent Park to win the Minor Cup.
The Under 20 XV had a mixed season, winning four and losing four, of the schedule League fixtures.

Anthony O'Leary the out going President presented Donncha O'Callaghan with a cheque for Unicef raised by club activities during the season. The club also celebrated the six members that have captained the British & Irish Lions to-date, by unveiling a commemorative framed picture. Four of the six were in attendance, Tom Kiernan (South Africa 1968), Donal Lenihan (Australia 1989), Donncha O'Callaghan (South Africa 2009) and Peter O'Mahony (New Zealand 2017), unfortunately Noel Murphy (New Zealand 1966) and Ronan O'Gara (South Africa 2009) were unable to attend.
